WE TREAT EVERY SALE AS IF IT WAS OUR OWN
Col Bob Wedel
Founder
In 2020, we lost our founder Col. Bob Wedel. Since Bob graduated from Reisch Auction College in 1974, Bob’s Auction Service has been a family run business. In addition to Bob’s wife and daughters constantly involved, we welcomed Nate Pollnow to our business family twenty-five years ago. Throughout his life, Bob mentored us and continually shared his knowledge and expertise with us. Auctions are part of who we are, and always will be. We will continue with the same values our founder instilled in us. While Bob is greatly missed, we appreciate your continued support us as we carry on the legacy of our founder, husband, father, mentor and friend.

Nate Pollnow
Auctioneer
Nate began working for Bob in 1996 and quickly became a staple at Bob’s auctions. In 1999, he began working dealer car auctions, and graduated from Missouri Auction School in 2001.
Nate continues to work for several dealer car auctions. In addition, Nate and his wife Esther operate New Salem Farm in rural Columbus with their two children.

Nichole Glynn
Business Manager
As Bob’s daughter, Nichole grew up in the auction business. She is a jack-of-all-trades, taking on the roles of clerk, cashier, ring man and sale day manager. Nichole also runs our website and email newsletter.
Nichole is a 2004 graduate of UW Platteville with a degree in Business Administration and lives in Waunakee with her husband Brian and their three children.
