Our Story…
For more than 50 years, Bob’s Auction Service has helped individuals, families, businesses, attorneys, municipalities, and financial institutions navigate life’s transitions through professional auction services. Whether it’s an estate, business liquidation, farm equipment, real estate, or a specialty collection, we believe every client deserves a solution that’s tailored to their unique situation.
Founded by Col. Bob Wedel in 1974, Bob’s Auction Service remains family owned and operated. Today, Patti Wedel Inglett and Nichole Wedel Glynn continue the tradition of treating every client with honesty, respect, and personal service while combining decades of auction experience with today’s technology.
Every auction is different, which is why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We offer both live and online auctions and work closely with our clients to determine the format that best fits the merchandise, the goals of the sale, and the audience we’re trying to reach.

Patti Wedel Inglett
Office & Client Services
If you’ve called or visited Bob’s Auction Service, chances are you’ve met Patti. She enjoys getting to know the people behind every auction and helping buyers and sellers feel comfortable throughout the process. Whether she’s answering questions, welcoming customers, or guiding someone through their first auction, Patti believes that great service starts with treating people like neighbors.
Having grown up in the family business, Patti has spent a lifetime around auctions. Today, she’s involved in nearly every stage of preparing an auction—from photographing merchandise and cataloging items to coordinating office operations and assisting customers before, during, and after the sale. No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly what she enjoys most.
Patti is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with a degree in Accounting and is also a Wisconsin Real Estate Salesperson. She lives in Columbus and enjoys spending time with her three adult children
Nichole Wedel Glynn
Marketing & Auction Operations
Nichole has been part of the family business her entire life and enjoys finding new ways to connect buyers with great merchandise while making the auction experience as seamless as possible for sellers. She believes that every auction has a story to tell, and thoughtful marketing and presentation help that story reach the right audience.
Her work spans nearly every aspect of auction preparation, including photographing merchandise, cataloging items, coordinating vendors, managing the website, developing marketing campaigns, and overseeing many of the behind-the-scenes details that bring each auction together. She enjoys blending traditional auction values with today’s technology while never losing sight of the personal relationships that have defined Bob’s Auction Service for more than 50 years.
Nichole is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Platteville with a degree in Business Administration and a graduate of Western College of Auctioneering. She lives in Waunakee with her husband, Brian, and their three children.
